By resonating with a Nappo, you retrieve the fragments, proving that the so-called "output rates" and "waste" are just a front. Tailing Reiner, you witness firsthand how he manipulates the mine under the pretext of lowering output rates, treating the miners as expendable labor. The clues gradually point to his collusion with the person in black. To stop the outflow of ore, you and Airona decide to go deeper underground to uncover the truth, while Boyce heads back to look after Darya and the miners. And so, you part ways to take on your new tasks.
