You and Airona hit a wall at the mine checkpoint. Denied passage, your only recourse is to gather information from the villagers. Along the way, you save a little girl, Lily, from being knocked over by a soldier, and through this, you meet Village Chief Alphonse and the other villagers.
The mine's lockdown and the heavy guard by the Blackstone Legion make the main road impassable, so you head to the Pillar of Divinity to see what you can find out. The pilgrims here babble on about strange tales and miracles, but no one can give a straight answer. Instead, amid the chaos, a young woman named Darya seizes the opportunity to steal your and Airona's Starsoul Flasks. After a chase and confrontation, she admits she knows the secret entrance to the mine. She even reveals that the underground is also infested with Illusory Blooms, and the miners are suffering terribly under oppression. She proposes a deal: she will lead you to infiltrate the mine in exchange for you not pursuing the theft.
Faced with this cunning Miss Thief, you and Airona must decide whether to accept this risky bargain...
