Letter Regarding the Rejection of Mr. Hartson's Request to Return to Byrnhald
Dear Mr. Hartson:
We have received your feedback regarding the poor conditions within the Dark Mist Legion, the lack of progress over a long period, and your desire to return to Byrnhald.
After internal investigation and deliberation, the decision has been made to reject your request. You are required to continue fulfilling your obligations within the Dark Mist Legion until the end of your service term.
The following is dictated by Baron Heinrich, conveyed on his behalf: "Tch, kid, got hot-headed back then and just followed Denvel out? Saying you wanted to fight the Asterleeds, wanted to turn the tables or something. I told you long ago that was all nonsense. Denvel doesn't understand the real situation at all.
But it's good for you to go out and see the world. After all, you're an adult now. You have to pay the price for your decisions. Don't always think that when trouble comes, your old dad will bail you out. That doesn't work anymore.
