Bahamar Calamity Archives

A hardcover chronicle introducing the calamities that struck the Bahamar Highlands.

Volume I: The Highland Calamity and the Ancient Seal Legend has it that two hundred years ago, followers of the witch Hruga appeared on the Bahamar Highlands and unleashed a terrifying Void Mist, seeking to annihilate humanity... At that time, humans were no match for Hruga. After one crushing defeat after another, human civilization stood on the brink of annihilation.
In a moment of desperation, the Creed guided emissaries of the Bapharian Divines to the highlands. With the help of the deities, Hruga was finally defeated and sealed.

However, her power scattered across the Bahamar Highlands, severely disrupting the flow of Engram here.
The most immediate manifestation is the growth of Illusory Bloom—a sinister crystalline with an otherworldly appearance, still widespread across the highlands. Its crystalline shell is nearly impervious, with remarkable regenerative ability, making it almost impossible to destroy completely. Illusory Bloom thus stands as a lasting mark of that ancient war, continuing to threaten the lives of the local inhabitants.
--- Volume II: The Witch's Hatred Unveiled Why does Witch Hruga harbor such deep hatred for humanity, vowing their extinction? The answer lies with an almost-forgotten evil race: the Igdias.
This ancient race, existing since the ancient age like the Bapharian Divines, was both arrogant and malevolent. They proclaimed themselves the sole rulers of the Continent of Magna and opposed the Bapharian Divines.
According to the Creed's records, the Igdias once waged a massive war against the Bapharian Divines and attempted to manipulate humans into opposing the deities, but their schemes were ultimately exposed.
After their defeat, internal power struggles erupted within the Igdias, ultimately leading to their downfall...
Tragically, the surviving Igdias placed the blame on humans. The remnants obsessively believed that human betrayal caused their defeat, triggering internal chaos, and thus held humans responsible for the annihilation of their race.
Witch Hruga became the leader of this hardline faction. --- Volume III: Lingering Shadows and Warnings Although the name of Witch Hruga has gradually faded from memory since her sealing by the Creed, the threat of the Igdias has never truly vanished. Hruga's followers remain active in the shadows, searching ceaselessly for the remnants of her power and attempting to break the seal to welcome their master's return.
During the Asterleeds Independence War in Year 600 of the Alician calendar, cracks once appeared in Hruga's seal. At that time, the Void Mist once again spread across every corner of the Continent of Magna, becoming an ever-present gloom over people's hearts. With a common enemy looming, humanity united as never before under the mediation of the Creed, ultimately suppressing Hruga once again. The Creed then stepped forward to repair her seal again.

Today, the Illusory Bloom has erupted across the highlands once more, and the Illusory Plague again threaten the people living there. Rumors suggest that the followers of Hruga—those who previously spread disaster in Asterleeds—may have already fled to the highlands. The connection between the two cannot be ignored.
All of this warns us humans that we must put aside our hatred and disputes, remain vigilant against the remnants of the Igdias, and beware Witch Hruga!
