Blackstone Legion at the Mines

The Blackstone Legion is the main garrison force overseeing the Sislesa Mine, serving under the Duchy of Byrnhald.

They treat the miners with extreme brutality. All Legion soldiers wear matching black boots, and their march carries a sharp, iron rhythm. Whenever they patrol the mine, the sound of those boots reverberates through the tunnels, sending a chill down every miner's spine.

According to the miners, many of them are from Asterleeds, yet they are not bound to the Squad by any substantive contract.
This odd detail seems to hint at a hidden darkness and disorder within the Blackstone Legion itself.
