You return to the Bahamar Highlands with Jerrad, only to find Lallipar enveloped by Illusory Blooms. The familiar streets and fields have lost their former vitality. Fafala is struggling to hold on. Airona is here investigating the ore trade. You stand side-by-side once more, seeking a way out of the villagers' plight. Jerrad, using the alias "Rab," negotiates and promises to send aid and supplies to the mine, while Alphonse and the Creed struggle to weigh their options, caught between the Illusory Plague and a shortage of supplies. You witness the quarrels and divisions among the pilgrims, and you hear Lothar and Alphonse confront the truth of the Starsoul Flasks—the comfort they bring is not true salvation.
The Illusory Blooms erupt once more. Federico returns, wounded, with a warning that a greater calamity is approaching. Fear and hope intertwine, the village is in turmoil, and you must once again step forward, following the remaining clues to find the giant Illusory Bloom that threatens the entire highlands.
