Creed Intervention

Although the clockwork chicken experiment failed to solve the mystery of the Uncertainty Storm, the artisans' shocking reports at least served to push the investigation forward. Once the report was published, it caused a sensation, spreading like wildfire across the highlands. People endlessly discussed the bizarre event, guessing at the real reasons behind it.
However, the news quickly caught the attention of the Creed. The Creed, sensing something strange afoot, immediately intervened in the investigation, citing suspicions that the artisans had used illicit Legacies.
All the artisans should have needed to do to prove their innocence was replicate the experiment... but the Uncertainty Storm seemed to play a cruel joke on them. No matter how hard they tried, the clockwork chicken never split into two again.
Amidst the awkwardness of the artisans not being able to reproduce their experiment, the Creed proposed a search of their camp under the guise of assisting their investigation. Unfortunately for the artisans, while the Creed didn't find any so-called illicit Legacies, they did uncover contraband Crimson Marrow. The artisans just smiled uncomfortably at this, stating that they just used it as an energy source. As the team leader put it, no one's warehouse is entirely clean. It gets ugly if you dig to the very bottom.
The Creed wasn't going to let them off so easily. Judging from their behavior, the Creed's true intentions were not nearly as simple as just searching for contraband.
