Gloomy Depths - Ecology

Deeper within the ruins of the Sunken Corridor, the sky is blotted out, sunlight is rarely seen, and the damp scent of moss lingers all day long. The Bapharian Ruins, which coexist with the rocks, have long been swallowed by nature. This gloomy underground space thus earns its name—the Gloomy Depths.

When it was first discovered, it kept artisans, scholars, and priests busy for quite some time. All kinds of people came and went, trying to discover something in the Bapharian Ruins that had merged with the rocks. But apart from attracting merchants who provided these travelers with necessities, it seemed to yield little else.

In the many years that followed, the Gloomy Depths existed as a shadow. Yet this natural cover became the ideal place for some to hide from the sun. The trades that must not be seen in the highlands are completed here.

Over time, a unique order formed here. One built on silence.
The people active in this place all seem to be quietly scheming something: tight-lipped merchants, hurried backpackers, mysterious travelers, and Adventurers who wandered here... They have formed established circles. Outsiders or unfamiliar faces are not necessarily met with hostility, but their interactions are limited to superficial politeness.
