While you were completing various requests for the guild, Sabine was also secretly investigating its internal movements.
According to the clues she gathered, Edred was behind the murder of that scout. Through various means, he had forced Gaston to agree to collaborate with the Cabbage Mission. Once collaboration began, Edred never made the accounts public, leading Sabine to suspect that he was selling illicit Legacies. This led the guild to gradually be targeted by the Creed.

If the situation was allowed to develop, the guild Sabine had painstakingly built would likely be uprooted by the Creed. Therefore, she decided to find someone reputable and capable to witness Edred's betrayal. Such evidence would ensure that Edred could be purged from the guild, and at the same time, once the Creed intervened, all the blame could be shifted onto Edred.

However, the truth is that the forces behind Edred were much larger than Sabine imagined.
The person he met with was a mysterious person codenamed Reference Mirror. The content of their conversation sent chills down the spine; Edred seemed to have lost an extremely important item, which greatly angered Reference Mirror. Both parties finally agreed to a redelivery within a week.
