A merchant leader named Sabine has issued a request. She wants an Adventurer to help investigate a subordinate who has been missing for a long time.
On the surface, it seems to be just an ordinary accident. The clues at the scene display very few signs of struggle, and it looks more like the deceased fell to their death by accident. However, one detail is unsettling: the deceased's expression was very peaceful. The corners of their mouth were even stretched, in an inexplicable smile.

Upon learning this information, Sabine did not show much surprise; rather, she displayed emotional restraint, as if confirming a suspicion. According to her, this incident could be related to a recent collaboration within the Merchant Guild. Among the three leaders of the guild, she was the only one who had voted against it.
