Environmental Impact on the Wilds

These wilds were once a haven where beasts thrived, but the arrival of treasure hunters and traveling merchants has left them with less room to roam.
Worse still, the treasure hunters' frequent logging, digging, and clearing of vegetation have severely damaged the ecosystem. Driven to desperation, the beasts have started to attack lone humans, causing endless suffering for the traveling merchants who only came to sell their goods. Because of this, tensions between the merchants and the treasure hunters continue to escalate.
