For now, the turmoil in the Artisan Camp is over. After the Creed and the artisan leader exchanged information, the investigation into the Uncertainty Storm was subsequently halted.
The artisan apprentice Julien, who proposed the clockwork chicken experiment, poured too much of his heart and soul into it to accept such a sudden, massive letdown.
He handed me a research report and whispered that their leader had attributed the uncertainty phenomena to "hallucinations caused by Crimson Marrow mutation," but he didn't buy it at all—the explanation doesn't fit every phenomenon. Hallucinations are usually continuous, while the Uncertainty Storm ebbed and flowed with time like the tide, sometimes strong, sometimes weak, and always lacking any continuity.

But what unsettled him the most was a mark that appeared throughout.
At first, he couldn't even remember what it was, until he saw it again inside the clockwork chicken and suddenly reacted, sketching out the fleeting pattern right then and there.
It was a mysterious spiraling pattern—twisted into a triangular vortex.
